CPU Capacitors

“Wait?  Why only 3300uF? Doesn’t the 1.0/1.1 use 1500uF?”

Yes the 1.0/1.1 use (5) 1500uF capacitors. Myself and a few others just have been installing (3) 3300uF in their place, like that later rev boards. These caps are simply bulk smoothing for the CPU. The extra capacity does not harm anything, the ESR is still lower than some caps that where installed from the factory.

For 1.2-1.6, these are direct replacements and exchanged 1for1 on the board.

Included are three 6.3v, 3300uF Panasonic Capacitors.
