Unlike traditional SATA/IDE adapters, this also has the ability to be powered from the console’s DVD power connector. Making it a great solution for non-optical drive setups like slim builds. A 3D-Printed isolator is also included to prevent accidental shorts against an HDD.

Note: Certain scenarios exist where this adapter’s chipset does not play well with some Samsung optical drives, the same as the Startech adapter.
